We are an amateur mixed choir from Prague—a group of people who love to sing, play, and spend our free time together outside of rehearsals.

Molydury was founded in 2018 by choir director, singer, composer, and vocal therapist Tereza Medwey (ex Staňková).

We sing a wide variety of songs in many languages and in both minor and major keys, ranging from csárdás to chanson. We primarily perform original compositions; when we do borrow a song from another source, it is always arranged specifically for us by Tereza.

In 2012, Tereza Medwey composed the Missa Cordis mass, which has its own dedicated page (CZ) on this website.

Between 2020 and 2023, we recorded and released our CD, Poprvé (For the First Time). We are now works on our next album.

In 2025, the choir performed outside the Czech Republic for the first time, appearing in Bremen, Germany—home to one of our favorite lyricists, Magdalena Farnesi. Also in 2025, Tereza Medwey won the Prague round of the „Porta“ festival (a competition rooted in the Czech tramping and folk tradition) with her band, Thea&ComingOut, while her choir took third place.
